  • Arizona Historical Society - located near the University of Arizona campus; replica of an old mine shaft, replicas of pioneer-period homes
  • Ft. Lowell Museum
  • Arizona State Museum - located on the campus of the University of Arizona; discover the arts of the Anasazi, the Hohokam, and the Navajo
  • Mission San Xavier del Bac - just south of the city; known as the "white dove of the desert," founded by Father Kino in 1700
  • Old Tucson Studios - just west of town; tourist center and movie set
  • Saguaro National Park
  • Sabino Canyon - hiking trails and picnic areas; the Hokoham constructed irrigation dams in the area around 1200 AD
  • Titan Missle Museum
  • Pima Air and Space Museum - home of JFK's presidential jet
  • Davis-Monthan Air Force Base - the airplane graveyard
